Guru designed furniture is handcrafted from a fast-growing, sustainable hardwood called Sheesham found in India. Highly distinctive, Sheesham’s unique grain and rich colour makes each piece of furniture completely individual. All our furniture is handmade and finished with a hand waxing process to produce a lustrous and hardwearing finish that complements the wood’s natural grain. As each item is handcrafted entirely from timber, some imperfections are to be expected, and indeed, add to the wood’s unique character.
